When hiking to a tribal village in Vietnam we met up with a woman who invited us to her home for tea. Delighted with her offer, we, the visiting tourists, became the audience for her children’s playful tea performance, complete with giggles and smiles. Resulting in a lasting memory of beautiful spirits. Vietnam 2009.

We approached this family’s home in Laos when the little girl spotted us. Above is her precious greeting before she ran into her home, put on her best dress, washed her face and tried to comb her hair to pose for above photo.
